Gamestop Employees Wear Fat Suits

Posted by Hokinabru

"Reminding people to stick to their New Year's resolutions, today GameStop employees dressed in fat suits are encouraging shoppers at Los Angeles shopping centers not to follow their example and to instead try out active video games."

They can't be serious... how would this encourage people to buy wii fit? i personally would just  laugh at them.

Multi-touch for G1 Out!

Posted by Hokinabru

Everyones been wanting multi-touch for the G1, i mean who doesn't want that on a touch screen device? It isn't released into the Android app market yet so you need to gain root access to your phone by getting a modded version of RC29. Just google it around and you'll find it. Because this isn't a full release, try this at your own risk.

The programmers at cydia (hacked version of app store) have done it again, bluetooth file transferring for your iPhone. See the video for your self.

The Perfect OS for your netbook.

Posted by Hokinabru

Jolicloud, and trust me you will want it. Tariq Krim has created the OS which sports a modified version of linux. The OS is designed for netbooks or miniature laptops that do not have great processors or much ram. Because its based on linux, it has a much faster boot time. The OS is mainly based on icon navigation.

Twenty-five years ago today, Steve Jobs introduced the Macintosh at an event in the Flint Center for the Performing Arts to an audience of about 3000 people

"There wasn't a person in the room who didn't think this was history happening," recalled Richard Doherty, analyst with the Envisioneering Group.

Windows XP proved to have better efficiency when using multicore systems but Window's Vista and Window's 7 takes better advantage of the multiple cores.

Meizu M8 Ready for realease

Posted by Hokinabru

"Meizu's been on a tear since our last M8 update. Sitting atop a new 0.9.0.1 firmware release complete with working copy and paste, Outlook calendar synchronization, and a "full backup system," the M8 is now supported by a published SDK and licensed to ride the Chinese airwaves for what looks to be a March, mainland China release. With all the passion it could muster, Meizu posted the following announcement to its English website:" - Enagdget.

My personal opinion on the M8 is thats its probably the best iPhone close your ever going to get. The multiple gestures look a little choppy but the additional options on the phone anre great. The battery is much bigger and its replaceable which is a huge plus.
